We have ONE pair of tickets left for Paolo’s show at The Abbey in Paisley for this Friday evening - 20th October 2017

These final two tickets come with a Paolo Nutini meet and greet and a fish supper from Castelvecchi, the family shop!

This special show - Paolo’s only Scottish gig this year - is part of the Spree Festival and Paisley's bid to be UK City of Culture 2021

It’s also special in that ALL monies from ticket sales will be shared between five local charities selected by Paolo himself - so we’ll raffle off this final pair of tickets to raise as much money as possible

Just text NUTINI to 84902 and you’re in the draw - which closes at 7pm on Wednesday evening (18th October 2017)

(PLEASE NOTE - due to incredible demand this is a new code from the one initially publicised. Anybody who texted the previous number and who received confirmation of payment HAS already been entered into the draw.)

If you're lucky, this final pair of tickets means you and a friend/partner can come to the show, meet Paolo and he’ll even treat you to a fish supper

Each £1 donation counts as one raffle ticket. You can enter up to ten times. You must be over the age of 16 to enter. Competition open to UK residents only.

The raffle/competition will close at 7pm BST this Wednesday 18th October 2017

    Good luck!

Paolo wants to help boost his local record shop - FEEL THE GROOVE – on Causeyside Street, Paisley, by staging a unique show for people who buy music there

Paolo said “we want to encourage that thing of making the trip to your local record store. It’s easy to go on iTunes or Spotify and get a song”

No matter where Paolo is, he always hunts out the local record shop - buying new stuff, second hand records plus the odd rare find: “It’s not like I have a record out that I’m trying to sell. The idea is you buy any music in the shop. You spend a fiver, you get a token. A tenner, you get two. £20 and you get four. Each token is a chance to win”

Thirty lucky people, drawn from a hat, will be able to bring someone along to the in-store gig on Thursday 19th October
“I like the idea of rocking up with a kit and a couple of amps and doing it as a four piece but keeping it electric. We’ll get in, have the chance to say hi and maybe conjure up a couple of surprises too”

The promotion runs from now until 6pm on Monday 16th October 2017
The shop’s site was home to the legendary Apollo Records, where Paolo performed back in 2006

He’s teamed up with new owner Gavin Simpson to try to raise cash to pay for a ‘Feel The Groove' sign by local artist Rachel Miller

Paolo said: “The shop has been there for years. It was The Record Factory, then Apollo Music, with old owner Mike Dillon, where we played in 2006 to launch the first album.

“Now it’s owned by Gavin Simpson, a lovely guy who does a lot in Paisley. The sign outside is just temporary. We want to raise funds for them to have a proper permanent sign – that was one of the big ideas”

“There’s a local girl, Rachel Miller, who's a designer and the idea is to have her do this sign for the shop. She will be doing things on a big scale for the 2021 bid too. I think she is an example of the reason why Paisley has got so far in it.”

Paolo is backing Paisley’s UK City Of Culture 2021 bid and is delighted at how it’s panned out for local artists. He said: “It’s been amazing seeing the creative local people getting the platform and the voice they deserve. The idea of us all working together – that is why I wanted to be involved. I hope all this going on inspires kids to think they can do things in Paisley, achieve things, stay there and keep that bond”

Paolo is thrilled to be playing a SOLD OUT Paisley Abbey show on Friday 20th October, saying “Of all the other things I have managed to do so far in my life, getting to a point where my hometown asks me to do something like that makes me feel proud.”

You can BID to own this exclusive one-off Fender Stratocaster guitar designed by Paolo Nutini and signed by Valentino Rossi - which is being auctioned for The Marco Simoncelli Foundation in Italy.

This October will mark the five year anniversary of the tragic passing of rising MotoGP star Marco Simoncelli. Already the world champion in the 250cc category, he was emerging as a natural successor to the great Valentino Rossi before his life was tragically taken in an accident at the Malaysian MotoGP in October 2011.

To help raise money for the Simoncelli Foundation on their latest project - which is to build a day care facility for children with disabilities in Marco’s hometown of Coriano, Rimmi, Italy. Life long fans of Moto GP, Paolo and his father Alfredo have made and donated a one-off hand painted Fender Stratocaster guitar.

The Nutini's worked closely with Fender to create the unique design, based on the Simoncelli Foundation logo which was created by legendary MotoGP helmet designer Aldo Drudi. With the help of Martin Finnigan, the UK ambassador for the Simoncelli Foundation, they were able to gain support for the project of one of Marco Simoncelli’s great friends – Valentino Rossi. Valentino, one of the greatest Moto GP riders of all time, signed the guitar and is giving great support for the guitar and the auction of it.

Marco’s father, Paolo Simoncelli said “This is a sensational initiative from Paolo (Nutini) and his Dad Alfredo - and our UK ambassador, Martin Finnigan. This is the first time that we know of where such a great and important initiative leaves the world of music to help Moto GP, I'm happy for this! And I can only say thanks for all the support."

Paolo said… “My father Alfredo is the bike fanatic. I have always loved them but they are his passion. What always got me was the sheer guts and guile that these guys show as they fly round that track at such speed. I thought that Marco Simoncelli was an exciting rider and one who seemed to be getting stronger and stronger. The people who knew him spoke of his kindness and geniality. A handsome big guy with wicked hair and full of passion. It was his love for the guitar that led us to get in touch with Fender and collaborate on the guitar that we have now. Kindly, Fender were more than happy to get involved and we now have the custom ‘Super Sic Strat’. I hope that as lovers of bikes or music, or both, that you can help us raise as much as possible for the foundation and ultimately the children that it will go to.”

The auction is live now and concludes after race day of The Malaysian GP in Sepang on Sunday 30th October - so get bidding now for this very unique guitar. Click HERE to bid...

There is only ONE of these guitars on the planet so it really is a collectors item.

From left to right… Martin Finnigan (Simoncelli Foundation UK); Valentino Rossi; Paolo Nutini; Alfredo Nutini

  • Newport Show Sold Out - Donation Page Now Launched

    Posted: Tue 07 Jun 2016 | Views: 4039 | Comments: 0

A couple of weeks back, Paolo announced a one-off show in the UK for 2016 at the 2,000 capacity Newport Centre in Newport, South Wales, for Bevlee Jones and in aid of her 13-year-old son - Ieuan Joel.

Tickets for this very special show sold out in minutes and Paolo Nutini fans from Wales and beyond have generously shown their support for Ieuan Joel.

Many who were unable to get hold of tickets have expressed a desire on Paolo’s social media sites to help the family further, and so a donation page has been set up for anyone who wishes to add to the trust fund that's being set up to help 13-year-old Ieuan Joel. This can be found at:

Ieuan’s family have been overwhelmed with the support shown to them from the people of Newport and around the world. Ieuan’s grandmother Carol Davies said "All I can do is thank everyone from the bottom of my heart for helping my daughter and her son. Bevlee would have been so proud. The concert will be a chance for those who knew Bevlee to remember her and celebrate her life"
